Vehicle Fire | Brookbridge Drive
Companies were dispatched to a possible structure fire, reported as a vehicle fire very close the structure. On arrival, only the vehicle was involved with no extension to the residence. Crews were assisted by mutual aid departments from the original structure fire dispatch.

Severe Storm | Quailhollow Rd. High winds from a tornado warnded storm caused widespread tree damage in the Kenwood area. Flooding rains also occurred blocking many roadways in the area. Storm debris clogged many storm drains requiring assistance from fire crews. E-92, E-93, M-92

The Sycamore Township Fire Department responded to a number of wind related emergencies on April 2, 2016. Crews responded to 28 details during a twenty four shift, many of which were storm related. STFD members also assisted residents at a local retirement home to their rooms on the upper floors due to a power outage and no elevator access. Please remember to treat all downed utility wires as live/charged wires and maintain a safe distance.
